Thank you, whoever searched ‘sunflower field in philippines’ in Google and got here, because now I know that a sunflower field actually exists in the Philippines. And it’s much closer than I think.

CLSU is located in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, roughly 3 hours away from Manila. Sun Star Davao reports that the university has been growing sunflowers since the 70’s, and that the best months to plant them are from October-January and February-May.
